What happens when you can't be a Moose
anymore?
Moose Products, Inc. was a company at
the forefront of innovation. With products such as the Z1100, MPI-II,
MooseAlert, CH12, MPI 25, MPI 50, and the JDS 100, the company established
a position as the top producer of security system that became the industry
standard. However, the future of Moose Products was cut short when
the company was sold in 1987 to Aritech, later to become part of GE.
When Wade Moose, company founder, got back
into the industry, he rehired the original Moose engineering group with a
goal to surpass their past achievements. The only problem was what
to call the company. Playing on the Moose name, an employee
suggested a close relative and Elk Products was born.
What We Do
With one of the best warranties in the industry, Elk is known as a premium
alarm and automation manufacturer with a complete product line including
controls, speakers, sirens, power supplies, timers, relays, PLCs,
recordable voice units and a great battery tester. We challenge our
customers to come up a problem that can't be solved with one of our
products.
We call our M1 controls a "Cross
Platform Control®" because they provide more than
security, more than automation. They actually allow you to
interface with more than 30 manufacturer's products for total control of
home and business. Users can have a system as individual as their
needs. Our common sense approach provides economical solutions for
task management, energy savings, entertainment, security, video
surveillance, lighting, and control from one central brain - M1. The
ability to coordinate all the equipment under one authority simplifies the
usage and strengthens the reliability of the entire system.
Utilizing the energy management features of the M1 can provide payback of
the system and the customer security monitoring as well.
Our M1 Gold version has a soothing voice
for system alerts onsite and over the phone, a menu for telephone remote
control, and system guidance. M1EZ8, while without voice capability,
is the economical "Little Brother" to the M1 Gold with the same
powerful Whenever/And/Then rules programming engine, expandability, 32 bit
processor with flash memory and 2400 baud 2-way modem. Both versions
allow you to stay in touch and in control over the internet or intranet.
M1's English Text Programming completely
eliminates the learning curve for installers, too.
Increase your market potential, stand out from the competition, and
provide safety, savings, and convenience to your customers.
