Temperature Sensor Allows the Magic Module to monitor ambient temperatures and control functions through programming. The Sensor can be remotely located up to 20' from the Module to an area where temperature measurement is desired. The Sensor connects via a 4 conductor cable to the terminals of either an ELK Clock/Calendar Module(ELK-MC100) or the supplied Interface board. This board is plugged onto the Magic Module Accessory Connector(J1).

iButton Reader & Interface Pack This pack contains components that allow the Magic Module to read iButton™ from Dallas Semiconductor. This enables the Magic Module to be used as an economical high security access controller, time-attendance functions, etc. The small "dime sized" iButton™ is a rugged memory device containing a uniquely readable "non-repeating" serial number. The iButton is simply momentarily touched to the reader in order for a read to occur. The iButton™ Reader Interface connects to the Magic Module J5 connector through an 8 pin 6' modular cable (included). The reader probe is mounted on a stainless steel faceplate and is wired into the interface. A package of 10 iButton™ keys with key ring holders (ELK-MA101) are available.

This enables the Magic Module to be used as an economical access controller for one or two doors, or for a single door with anti-passback or time-attendance functions. The Proximity/iButton™ Reader Interface connects to the Magic Module J5 connector through an 8 pin 6' modular cable (included).
