If It Gets
Too Hot, Call Me!

In the food service industry, some very costly inventory is stored in freezers and coolers.  The same is true for grocery stores, home owners, etc. If freezers or coolers fail, it can be expensive and time consuming.  For every moment the failure goes unnoticed, the problems become increasingly amplified.  The M1 Cross Platform ControlÒ can monitor freezers, coolers, boilers, wine cellars, aquariums, ponds, second homes, warehouses, storage tanks, livestock barns, etc. and contact you if the temperature is not in an acceptable range.

In this example, a cooler is being monitored every 30 minutes.  The desired cooler temperature is 42 degrees so, if the temperature rises above 45 degrees F, the M1 will dial the “Maintenance’ number and announce “Temperature Alert, Check Cooling Unit One”.  The second rule produces the same effect if the temperature falls below 40 degrees F.

(Note: Message can be customized using the 500+ word/phrase vocabulary or the 10 custom recordable words/phrases)

WHENEVER EVERY 30 MINS
AND Zone 016 (Zn 16) ACTUAL TEMPERATURE IS GREATER THAN 45 DEG. F. (7 DEG. C.)
THEN DIAL Maintenance (5551234) AND ANNOUNCE Miscellaneous 4 (vm242)

WHENEVER EVERY 30 MINS
AND Zone 016 (Zn 16) ACTUAL TEMPERATURE IS LESS THAN 40 DEG. F. (4 DEG. C.)
THEN DIAL Maintenance (5551234) AND ANNOUNCE Miscellaneous 4 (vm242)

To insure that a person (not an answering machine) receives the message, it may be desired to contact more than one number.  To do this, just add another then statement to the rule.

WHENEVER EVERY 30 MINS
AND Zone 016 (Zn 16) ACTUAL TEMPERATURE IS GREATER THAN 45 DEG. F. (7 DEG. C.)
THEN DIAL Maintenance (5551234) AND ANNOUNCE Miscellaneous 4 (vm242)
THEN DIAL Manager (5552345) AND ANNOUNCE Miscellaneous 4 (vm242)

Each primary number can have one backup number.  This number will be dialed if the primary number cannot be reached.  This option is available in the “Telephones” screen for each number.
