You May Forget, But The M1 Won't

You are on your way to work and everything is going smoothly, and then you realize... "I forgot to turn the coffee pot off!”  This sort of thing has happened to all of us.  While this is obviously annoying, it can also be a hazard.  One of the major causes of fires is unattended appliances, such as a curling iron or electric blanket.  With the M1 Cross Platform ControlÒ you can eliminate the annoyance and the worry by automating these appliances using power line carrier modules.

In this example, the curling iron and coffee pot will be turned off when the system is armed in away mode.
WHENEVER Area One (Area 1) IS ARMED AWAY
THEN TURN Curling Iron [2(A2)] OFF
THEN TURN Coffee Pot [3(A3)] OFF

Another option may be to turn all units off.  This will take care of all appliances and lights.

WHENEVER Area One (Area 1) IS ARMED AWAY
THEN TURN ALL UNITS OFF, HOUSECODE A

Commercial accounts may also find this useful for automating appliances in the break room, office equipment, and machinery.
