We have 10 M1 systems that have been in use for several years. On Feb 14, 2026 they all stopped sending email. We’ve changed the email password, tried 2 different email accounts (Gmail and O365) which work on other test devices. The email is not even hitting the SMTP servers. Any thoughts?

Well I did the firmware update and it’s still not sending.

Trace screen shows Auth Unsuccessful and finally 530 5.7.57 Client not authenticated to send mail

Message Trace on O365 Exchange doesn’t show anything, I guess because it’s refusing the connection

Bootloader and firmware are both latest version.  Any other ideas?

When I test this from a raspberry pi it works flawlessly with gmail or O365

Ok the firmware did solve my problem. I just needed a sleep cycle to reset my brain and realize that I had been fooling around with the Exchange admin and deleted the account I was trying to use. Gmail worked fine the next day. Still can’t get it to work with office365 even though it works with other devices but whatever

Only problem now is I’m getting the alert that there are differences every time I connect even though I receive and save. Anyone find a fix for that?
