How do Program a Smoke Reset in E27? I can’t find the option for “When Fire Alarm Cuts Off” – “Then Reset Smoke Power”.

        Tomas,

The E27 has a dedicated SAUX connection that can be used to power 4-wire smoke detectors. Main Board Inputs 14, 15, and 16 can also be configured by setting the proper jumpers on the board to be used for 2-wire smoke detectors.

The system has a built in smoke reset function that will momentarly reset power to the SAUX connection as well as Inputs 14, 15, and 16 (if configured as 2-wire fire). This action is a manual trigger and can be performed from the keypad by utilizing the “ELK” button and navigating to “Smoke Reset”. Additional this can be triggered from the ElkConnect App by navigating to the Sensors page and clicking the reset icon on the top right of the page.

Here is an image of the Sensors page header with the reset icon. It is the circular arrow icon.

As for rules, we did not account for controling the smoke reset function with a rule. But if you need assitance with this we are happy to look into it.

          Hi Michael,

With M1 we always created a rule to reset the smoke power.

Tomas – We currently do not have that option in the E27, I have spoken with engineering and we will be adding that to a future firmware update.
