My Mi shows as connected to the network, when I list all wired devices –  but when I try to connect with the ElkRP, it is not connecting giving the following error message.

Connection error – Could not connect.
Possible reasons. The port is not forwarded through the router.
The IP address or URL is incorrect. The remote site is down.

I am connecting from onsite not remote. Never seen this before. Has been working fine.

        In ElkRP2:

        • Click Setup, Options, Network Adapters
        • Under the Network Adapters dropdown should be the IP of your PC on the LAN
        • Select the IP of your PC and close the Network Adapter window
        • From the Account Detail Screen Click the M1XEP Setup and FIND
        • This should Find the M1XEP on the LAN and the IP Address of the M1XEP and your PC should be within the same range
        • Highlight the M!XEP and click Use Selected
        • Close the M1XE Setup window
        • From the Account Detail System URL/IP should be the IP of the M1XP on the LAN
        • Port 2601
        • The options “Connect non-secure” should Not Be Checked
        • The the Connection again

All steps followed. Not connecting. Message when Find is “No M1XEP found”.

          Please note.

          • Laptop IP is 0.199
          • ELK IP is 0.100 (it is correct IP of M1 in the System URL/IP in the Account Details page, Port 2601 is also correct.
So they are in the same range.

I continue to see the ELK in the list of wired network devices on the network

Enter the 192.168.0.100 in the System URL/IP and try the connections
