Hi Brad,

Martin was able to get it working without wiring the zone to relay.  Since I have it working using a relay I haven’t gone down the path of trying to make it work through software.  That will wait until I need to trigger a zone again for something else.

To answer your question, whether you need a resistor is dependent on how you have defined the zone.  If you just define it as normally open or closed then you don’t need a resistor.  If you define it as EOL Hardware / Wireless then you will need a resistor.
