Make sure the M1XEP is running the latest Firmware and following the instruction on setting up Two-Step Authentication for Gmail https://www.elkproducts.com/email-security-settings-using-app-passwords-for-gmail-and-yahoo-with-the-m1xep/
When complete you should be provided with a security code which you will enter under the Email Tab for the Password
