Yeah, I fully understand about the limitations of it not being supervised. The building is just a small storage shed, so there are no “life safety” issues, just property protection. It’s mainly so I know there is something going on out there that needs immediate attention. I may even forgo the heat detector and just put in a high temperature alarm like the TA-1 and just set it to the highest setting. I just didn’t want to define the LP3 zone as a “fire zone” and cause issues with the programming. I would like it to follow the same sequence I already have set up for a fire event, but that’s not a deal breaker.
So does “OPT 2 Checked” make it so the sensor doesn’t look for the EOL resistor you would normally place at the device? Or does the system/sensor already not look for the EOL resistor because it’s a wireless sensor?
