The M1 is running 5.3.30 firmware and the M1XEP is running 2.0.51 — correct? In the M1XEP Setup under the TCP/IP Setting Tab make sure to “Enable Non-Secure Port 2101” and send this change to the M1XEP. In the 7TS
The 7TS must be connected to the 2.4G WiFi Network.
- Click Menu
- Click Installer Settings
- You should be prompted “Enter Installer Access Code” —— 172839 Factory Default
- “If” there is an Update Available the information will appear on the Installer Setting Screen
- Click View Saved Profiles
- Click the Blue Pencil Icon to Edit your Profile
- Profile Name {You create the Profile Name}
- IP Address — this the IP of the M1XEP on the Local Area Network
- M1 User Code — A Valid User Code Programmed in the M1 that has does Not Have Access, Temporary Code or Duress Checked. Within ElkRP2 under User you might want to create a Code just for the 7TS for example User 100, Name 7TS, Code {you create the code}, All 8 Areas Checked and under User Authorization check Arm, Disarm, Master and Bypass with Code. User 100 is so far up in the list that it should NOT get accidently changed— Just a Suggestion.
- Port 2101

- Uncheck “Username and Password Required”
- Check “Connect Automatically on Startup

- Very Important to make sure ElkRP2 is NOT connected to the M1 while the 7TS is attempting to connect
