C1M1 Update Firmware NOT FOUND

So you know, when you open the utility, click anywhere in the grey are, hit CNTL, ALT P and then tools will show the option to update the device FW. Why this pdf is not bundled with the app software is beyond me. Why you need to hit the CNTRL ALT P is another one.

 

Firmware not found, I have placed the zip folder, the extracted folder and just the .bin in the Program X86, Elk Products C1M1 utility folder, it will not see the BIN. I removed and re-installed the utility, same issue. Of course they are closed today. Anyone run into this? Have a fix?

What is the last 4 digits of the MAC for the C1M1? There are 3 different downloads of C1M1 Firmware Updates depending on the Model of C1M1 you have. The C1M1 Utility will not allow you to download the “wrong” firmware into the C1M1:

C1M1 LTEA 0.0.1.8 for the C1M1 LTEA v1

C1M1 LTEV 0.0.1.19 for the C1M1 LTEV v1

C1M1 LTEV 0.0.2.8 for the C1M1 LTEV V2

Last 4 223F LTEV v2 I bought this the same time I had an install and am finally getting around to replacing my M1XEP. The other one I had to update the FW since it kept going offline with the network. Not something I would do every day, thus the instructions in the C1M! updater app would be good to have, a little more detail as well.

C1M1 MAC ending 223F is currently running 0.0.2.7 and you should be able to update to 0.0.2.8
