I have a E27 with a COSMOD2W and whenever we do a sensor reset to clear the smokes, the CO zone goes into alarm.  Is there a way to stop this?  I know on the DSC panel when we sensor reset, the CO zone goes into trouble, which is fine.  But the E27 goes into full alarm.  Also, when we sensor reset, the E27 touchscreen reboots.  Any thoughts on these issues?

Did you follow the https://elk-manuals.s3.amazonaws.com/ELK+Products+Tech+Note+-+E27.COSMOD.pdf example when setting up the COSMOD2W?

Eric – You definitely should not be getting an alarm when you do a reset. The link that Brad shared is a full write up we created on the COSMOD and the E27. It should not matter if it is a COSMOD2W or COSMOD4W they would connect and set up the same on the E27.

Additionally – Where is the TouchScreen powered from? Is it from the SAUX on the control by chance? That would result in a reset of power to the 7TS when you do a smoke reset.

Let us know if you have additional issues and we are happy to dig in and help.

          Thanks

We are using the ELK-P1417 power supply for the touch screen keypad.

Eric – Thanks for update. You should not be getting a reboot of the touchscreen when a reset is sent. Would mind sharing the version of the touchscreen? It is viewable on the about page of the touchscreen application. 0.15.007 should be the most current release.
