Hi!
I’ve used ELK-RP2 to maintain my M1 configuration for years. Upon starting the ELK-RP2 software (Version 2.0.41) on my Windows 10 desktop, it brings up the Accounts list fairly quickly (under 6 seconds). However, when I select my account, it takes approximately 60 seconds to retrieve the account configuration data and display the Account Details screen. Once the Account Details is displayed, everything works correctly and I can update my M1. Therefore, I don’t believe the configuration database is corrupted.
When I first installed ELK-RP2 years ago, the response was much quicker. This leads me to believe that after years of making configuration changes, the underlying Access Databases may be in need of a “Compact and Repair”. I have Microsoft Access 2010 available on my desktop.
I tried doing a repair of ELK-RP2 via the Windows 10 Apps screen, but the Modify button is greyed out. Clicking Uninstall simply prompts me to uninstall the application.
Is there a recommended procedure to “Compact and Repair” the Access Databases supporting ELK-RP2? Or am I barking up the wrong tree?
Regards,
Brian Burt
