Installing M1DBH

I’m installing an M1DBH and am wondering where to connect the 4-conductor Ribbon Cable (Elk-W018B) to the main M1G board.

 

The installation instructions explicitly state that the the J1 & J2 data hub connectors are for “temporary Connection” and are for “testing purposes only.”

 

Am I missing something?  Is there another place to plug the connector on the board for a permanent connection?

The included 4 pin ribbon cable can connect to J1 or J2 or you can use a 4 conductor and connect to the Green RS485 Data Bus.

Thanks…I opted for the 4 conductor before I heard back….I’ll probably stick with that.
