I’ve searched but cannot find an answer to this. If a M1XSP is configured as an expansion serial port, does it function just like the main serial port on the M1? In other words, could I leave the main port connected to a PC to use with ELKRP and use the expansion port with a device such as the Universal Devices eisy to communicate with the M1 and send/receive status information? Could each port have a M1XEP on it?

The M1XSP allows the M1 to integrate with other technologies for automation but can’t be used to connect ElkRP2 or the M1XEP.
