I’ve had my touchscreen for about a year, and I’m finally getting around to expanding it from just arming and disarming the alarm. I’d like to program the Function buttons to work with scenes from my EISY. How can I customize these buttons? I don’t see much support in the RP2 for the touchscreen, or maybe I’m just looking in the wrong place.

You have the M1 Gold System? The 7TS emulates one of the hardwired keypads connected to the M1 data bus. Once you decide which hardwired keypad the 7TS will emulate in ElkRP2 under keypads select that keypad and for the “F” keys the Activation Event will be 00 = Disabled, Illumination Event is optional or set to 1000 = No Event, Require Code should not be checked and Single Press checked, Assign a Name to the “F” key, click “Send to Control”. Next write your rule for that “F” key and Send that to the Control. Make sure ElkRP2 is disconnected from the M1 and from the 7TS click Security and in the upper right-hand corner select the M1 Keypad the 7TS will emulate. Next in the upper left corner of the 7TS click the menu icon and “Re-Sync”. Once the Re-sync is complete the “F” key should now show the Name you assigned and activate the rule you created.
