I just installed the touchscreen for the first time now that it is out of beta. My one issue so far is that it shows all the service icons like lights, hvac, garage doors etc. even though I have none of those. It makes for a bad UI experience. If there are no automations, those icons should be hidden. The majority of the time, the security system is just a security system, not a home automation platform.

On the mobile app you can do this on the user level, but I don’t see any option for this on the touchscreen, since it is not a “user.” Unless there is a setting I haven’t found?

There is an option to Hide Automation Menus on the touchscreen.  Using the ElkConnect app on your phone, connect to the E27 and go to Network Devices from the main menu.  Tap the touchscreen (listed by serial number) to view settings for the screen.  Turn on the “Hide Automation Menu” setting and Save.  The automation menus will no longer be displayed on the touchscreen.

See page 9 of the 7TS- Alarm Engine manual for more info:  https://www.elkproducts.com/elkdoc/elk-7ts-manual-ae/

Thanks so much, sorry I totally missed that in the manual even when I was looking for it!
