These messages are not sent to consumers or end users. SMS messages are sent exclusively to ELK-controlled or ELK-deployed hardware devices as part of normal system operation.
Consent for messaging is established through the installation and activation of ELK devices by authorized dealers and integrators. By deploying and activating an ELK C1M1 cellular device, the installer acknowledges and authorizes the use of SMS messaging for device configuration, connection management, and service functionality.
Messages are system-generated and may include commands to:
- Establish or update a connection to ELK services
- Configure communication endpoints
- Reset or reinitialize device connectivity
All messages are:
- Operational in nature
- Non-promotional
- Not intended for human interaction
No marketing or consumer-directed messaging is performed using this service.
