I proved my Gmail settings and general network connectivity was correct by duplicating them in a security camera that permits email alerts.  All OK.

My issue seems to be some corruption in the configuration file.  I loaded an older ElkRP2 file and the Gmail messages were flowing successfully.

I am now slowly making changes to that profile to (hopefully) restore full functionality.
