I’ve been using Gmail email for a number of years to send various messages from the M1XEP. It has worked reliably until early July. Doing some testing with the debugging tool, I find that only about 25% of the messages are getting through to the Gmail servers. The M1XEP seems to be making the proper request, but the Gmail servers seem to be random in accepting the connection. Yes, I am using Googles assigned password for third party apps. Has anyone else had this issue?

Possibly someone can better decipher it

Send Email DoneJuly 30, 2023 at 1:36 pm #7210Bruce CowanI proved my Gmail settings and general network connectivity was correct by duplicating them in a security camera that permits email alerts. All OK.
My issue seems to be some corruption in the configuration file. I loaded an older ElkRP2 file and the Gmail messages were flowing successfully.
I am now slowly making changes to that profile to (hopefully) restore full functionality.
August 1, 2023 at 9:38 pm #7212Bruce Cowanmy continuing saga….
The profile I loaded two days ago worked perfectly. Tested multiple times. Email worked every time. A time based “rule” to fire off “heartbeat” emails worked as they have in the past.
Then, as of today, emails are failing again. Email tests fail. I have made no changes to the configuration profile.
Strange
