I’m setting up a new M1 Gold system, I have 3 ELK-M1KP2 keypads. I basically want to know if it’s possible to arm the whole system through keypad 1. During my test, I would arm keypad 1 no problem, I would trigger the door sensor to activate the alarm and while that happened, keypads 2 and 3 are “ready to arm”. Keypads 2 and 3 are in their own areas, is that the issue? Or am I missing something else in programming through ElkRP?

A keypad can be assigned to only 1 area to control the arming, disarming and alarms for the area assigned. It is possible to temporarily map a keypad into a different area please see page 20 of the M1 Installation Manual for additional details
