ELK-7TS Issues after latest update

I’m having some issues with my 7TS now that I wasn’t having before updating it to the latest version.  Mainly, the touchpad is no longer beeping on entry or making any sound on entry. I can hear my keypad in the other room, but there is no audio from the 7TS. (I’ve verified the audio on the 7TS works.)

Also, now when entering there is an Entrance time countdown on the display that continues to countdown even after the code is entered. If you then try to rearm it it starts switching between an Entrance time and Exit time countdown.

I’m sure these are likely bugs, but if not is there some setting I can change to fix these or any idea when the bugs will be fixed?

I apologize, it appears we missed this post.

We released a update for the M1 APP on the 7TS this week. It is 1.0.621, this release is extensive and we have found that it addresses issue you reported. The issue your experiencing is actually related to the data exchanged in the sync. We reworked that process in this release. In addition to that there are a lot of new features and improvements. Below is a list of the release notes.

Improvements, Additions, and Modifications:

Touchscreen & Interface

• Updated the Touchscreen Settings page.
• Added a new Advanced Settings menu.
• Added UI feedback sounds with separate volume control.
• Added Screensaver and Night Mode features.
• Added weather information to the Screensaver. A ZIP Code must be entered manually;
  Canadian Postal Codes are supported.
• Added the ability for 7TS touchscreens connected to the same M1XEP/M1XIP to share ZIP Code
  and Installer Information. Sharing the Access Code is optional and secured.
• Added the hidden (or hide) keyword for naming a function key. This allows a keypad to show
  up in the M1 app but the function key will be hidden within the app.
• Improved the Temperature Sensors page.
• Various look-and-feel improvements throughout the app.

Security & Arming

• Added a debounce to the Away/Stay arming buttons to prevent unintended rapid changes to
  the arm state.
• Improved bypass behavior from the Zones Status and Security pages, including more accurate
  bypass status, improved status reflection, feedback when bypass fails, and navigation to the pin
  pad when a PIN is required to bypass.
• Zone Status page is now sorted by Violated, Bypassed, then Normal.

Networking & Connectivity 

• Added a new Network Tools menu with network information and a communication test for a
  connected M1XEP/M1XIP.
• Improved connection stability with the M1.
• Significantly improved syncing speed and reliability.
• Added an Alerts system and page to warn when a problem occurs during syncing.

Bug Fixes & Stability: 

• Fixed a bug that prevented Username/Password profiles from working.
• Fixed an issue that could cause Trouble sounds to stop working after a period of time.
• Additional stability and bug fixes.
