    M1 Installer

      Hi,

It appears that the M1KPNAV defaults for “Quick Arm.” I want the user to be forced to enter his/her code when “Exit” is pressed. In the User Guide for the M1KPNAV it states that “Quick Arm must enable by Installer [sic],” but I can’t find that option in RP. Now that I’m typing this out, I’m thinking it might be a setting only modified at the keypad?

      Thank you.

The “Quick Arm (Single or Double)” feature is enabled under Areas and is Global to all keypads assigned to that area. If neither Single or Double Quick Arm is checked then in order to Arm you will need to enter a valid code. When a Valid Code has been entered for example you’ve disarmed the system an internal 60 second timer is started (indicated by the clock icon running in the upper left-hand corner of the M1KPNAV screen) and during this time it is not necessary to re-enter the code. While the internal timer is running you can press the “Exit” key without having to enter the code and the system will arm Away Mode.
