Logging users

I have a customer who has an electronic gate that is controlled by an M1KAM module.  The input to the KAM is a Viking keypad/Prox Reader that sends a Weigand code to the KAM.  All that works perfectly.

I would like to log the user who entered a code on the KAM keypad.  The M1G doesn’t seem to do this logging.

Is there any way to log which user keyed in their code on the keypad?  It also would be nice to have a voice announcement:  “User xxx opened the gate”.

How can I do this?

Are the 26 Bit Wiegand Codes from the Viking programmed into the M1 as a User with “Access” checked as the User Authorization? If so the M1 will log when that Code as “Access” Keypad X (X = Address of the keypad).

The “Access” is checked, but the system isn’t logging the user.
