My ethernet interface will no longer permit remote connection and locally keeps disconnecting. I have the latest FW. Does this mean my ethernet interface needs to be replaced?

For remote connection the Secure Port 2601 needs to be Port Forwarded through the router.

Yes, it is. It was working since 2017 and then suddenly is not accessible. Any suggestions?

What is the Firmware in the M1XEP? It should be 2.0.34 or later. Has the Local Area Network IP for the M1XEP changed or your Public IP Address changed?

It has the latest FW and IP has not changed and I am trying to connect locally as well. it connects locally and the after a few minutes it disconnects.

Are you interfacing with any Home Automation Software for example Control 4, Crestron, AMX, RTI, URC…etc.? If so please make sure they are connecting on the Local Area Network on Port 2101.
