The two devices are on the first floor at basically in thirds from either side of the house for coverage. Two items have come up. The first is the older Interlogix TX-611 water / freeze sensors seem to have trouble being supervised. This is especially curious as three of them are within about 9 feet of the M1XF2G. The attic TX-611, sitting in a metal overflow pan beneath the HVAC is fine. The erros and so forth resolve over time. All the TX-611’s have new CR2450 batteries and were enrolled properly, and tested with a short of two of the four brass pins on the bottom with a copper rod.
The next item was a ‘ghost’ or missing keyfob. I ended up resolving that by disabling them all, ’00’ then re enabling them one at a time and testing them each after re enabling them while monitoring the M1XRF319 lights to note receiving the transmission. Not sure how the announcement when keying my keyfob was ‘Missing Transmitter – System is now armed’.
Last thought, the M1XRF2G has the ground plane antennas, if a pair of antennas were added to the left and right adjacent antenna connection on the M1XRF319, would they act as ground plane antennas?
Do you all ever take suggestions for more voice annunciation phrases?
Thanks,
John Mealey
