      Hi,

Since both the M1XSLC and M1XEP connect to the M1Gold via the RS232 port, am I correct that I can’t have both?

      Thank you.

I wonder if it would be possible to use an RS232 switch to accomplish this.  Either manual or automatic.

Thank you.  Well, if that’s even possible, it’d have to be automatic, but I don’t know how that could work remotely.  I’ll wait and see what Brad says, as I can’t imagine this is an either or.  That would render the M1XSLC useless as the M1XEP nowadays, is really the only way to communicate to central station.

The M1XEP connects to the J4 RS232 Serial Port on the M1 and the M1XSLC connects to the M1 Data Bus. You can have both connected at the same time.

Brad, Lutron just informed me that M1XSLC is not compatible with HomeWorks QSX, only QS which has been EOL’d.  Are there plans to update the XSLC?  Thank you.
