I have the 8 channel output extender connected to the M1 using the ribbon cable.  Every time I arm the system, output 10 is activated.  I’ve have checked the rules, but don’t find anything.

Update:  To be sure it wasn’t a rule causing this output, I disabled all my rules.  When arming or disarming, output 10 is still activated for about 5 seconds.  Could this be a hardware issue?

Look in Globals G29 – G42 to see if “Two-way Listen-in Enabled” is checked and if so un-check this option.

Thank you Brad, once again, you have saved the day!

From reading this post and testing things out myself it seems as if OUTPUT 10 is otherwise unusable if one is also using the TWI module (which requires G30 to be checked).

Brad – Can you confirm this or otherwise advise how OUTPUT 10 can be used while still using a TWI?
(I note that the TWI documentation is very clear about it using OUTPUTS 7, 8, and 9 but it doesn’t say anything about 10.)

              Thanks!

Correction- ..requires G31 to be checked (not G30)

                  Further correction.

I note that when enabling TWI using the RP2 interface it displays a message saying OUTPUTS 7,8,9 and 10 are reserved.

So I guess that confirms it.  Too bad the documentation doesn’t note that.
