<p style=”text-align: left;”>My installer placed a wire jumper on on output 2 connections.  Output 1 has my elk-73 speaker attached.  I have a “trouble” on the keypads.  No response from installer.</p>
      Suggestions?

If not using Output 2 a 2.2KΩ Resistor must be placed across OUTPUT 2 “+” and “-” to prevent the OUTPUT 2 Trouble. A piece of wire (direct short) could have damaged the board.

Well, that’s discouraging!  I paid a professional a lot of money for programming and hook up.  Custom Automated Solutions  (602-354-8869).  They haven’t returned my messages.

They are on your list of installers!

          Help?

          Thanks!

Not using output 2, is there a way to get rid of the error message on my keypads?

Did you try removing the wire and installing the resistor? Output 2 is a Supervised Output and if the system doesn’t see a load connected it will display Output 2 Trouble. There isn’t anyway to turn off this feature.
