According to the M1 manual, the SS 2wt-b will work with the M1. Question is will the 2wta-b also work? I like the sounder in each smoke.

Only Zone 16 will support a 2-Wire Smoke Loop and those detectors must be listed on page 6 of the M1 Installation Manual to make sure they are compatible with the M1. If not listed on Page 6 the smoke is not compatible the the M1!
