My keypads are all showing 00/00/00 00:00.

I have rebooted both ElkM1 Gold and Ethernet. I checked that the time server is working. I also set time from my PC. Finally I rebooted again, by powering off ElkM1 and Ethernet, waiting 10 seconds, and powering on.

      Firmware versions: ElkM1 5.2.10, keypads 2.1.48, and Ethernet 2.0.34.

I don’t know what else to try.

Possibly related, last night I had a false alarm (dang robot vacuum ran while we were not home, sigh). When we got home the alarm speaker was “clicking”. I did the power off sequence mentioned above, which seems to fixed the clicking, but the keypads all have 0 as their time.

Just wanted to add that in close to 18 years this system has always been rock solid. I’ve never had to reboot it because of a problem.

Power down the M1 and remove the front cover to expose the circuit board. In the upper left-hand corner is the 3V (CR2032) battery  which holds the date and time when the M1 is powered off and replace this battery. Once you’ve replaced the battery you will need to set the date and time from a keypad or the ElKRP2 Software.
