I have a customer whose keypads are displaying the message I have used for the title for this topic. The warning was issued at 2 AM this morning, and it shows up in the log. I haven’t the slightest idea what the problem is, and I am hoping another user of this forum can provide some guidance for me.

EEProm Fault is an indication the system attempted to write to memory and was not successful. This message will continue to display until the system is able to successfully write to that memory location or you can try:

        • Power cycle the system which will cause the message to go away –BUT — could return
        • Default the control through keypad programming Menu 9 Installation Programming, 07 – Global System Definitions, G45, right arrow and type 99. Once complete reload the account back into the system
