There were some idiosyncracies with z-wave switches (need to program as an output, not a light).  I have a thermostat ready to include, but thought maybe I should check first if anything unusual I need to know about.

I am not aware of any concerns with in the thermostats for Z-Wave. You will notice a “greyed” out scheduling option that we have not implemented as of yet.

You can use rules to create scheduling until we finalize an in app option.

We have tested Z-Wave functionality with several manufacturers. Let us know if you experience any issues.

FYI, I just setup a Honeywell Lyric T6 Pro for my first E27 customer, and it seems to have been included fine.  I haven’t played around with it much due to the Cabin it is installed in is moving to its final destination now, so until their power/internet is hooked up I won’t have any feedback, but it looks like it is working normally with the E27.

Jeff – Good to hear – The Honeywell Lyric T6 was one that we tested with here at ELK. We tested with several other Zwave units as well and found some specific oddness with some that was addressed.

But, the Ecolink TBZ500 is what we are officially recommending. https://discoverecolink.com/product-support/tbz500/

            Thanks – Mike
