Displayed as “Receive [Item]” in the Send/Rcv menu, where [Item] represents the current page selected in ElkRP.
Receives one or more programmed items from the system and displays them on the screen. The items are not saved in the database until you select the Save Account command on the File menu. ElkRP must be connected to the system. Items such as user codes, zone definitions, and communicator codes may be received individually or as a group. This command does not allow you to receive the system’s log. It does not allow you to view current armed status or zone status.
What is received depends on what is on the screen or what is selected. For example, if the right pane is showing a single User definition, this command will receive only that user from the system. If the list of all users is showing in the right pane, then this command will receive all users from the system. What will be received, whether a single item or a group of items, appears after the word Receive in the menu. For the previous two examples, you would see Receive User 1, and Receive All Users, respectively. Examine the wording in the menu carefully to make sure you are receiving what you intended.
