Windows 10
- Click Start.
- Select Settings.
- Click Apps.
- Select Apps & features.
- Locate the ElkRP program.
Note: The program may appear as ElkRP2 or ElkRP3, depending on the version installed - Select ElkRP and click Uninstall.
- Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the removal.
Windows 11
- Click Start.
- Select Settings.
- Click Apps.
- Select Installed apps.
- Locate the ElkRP program.
Note: The program may appear as ElkRP2 or ElkRP3, depending on the version installed - Click the ⋯ (three dots) next to the program and select Uninstall.
- Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the removal.
This will permanently remove the complete installation of ElkRP. Some files that were created or copied to the RP folder after installation (such as firmware update “bin” files) may not be removed by the uninstall program. To manually remove them, open Windows File Explorer, and locate and delete the RP folder and all files and folders in it. During installation, the RP folder was created in C:\ProgramData unless you or your system administrator installed it in a different location. If the accounts database (ElkAccts.mdb by default) is in a location other than the RP folder (i.e. on a shared network drive), it will be necessary to locate and delete it manually as well.
