I’m trying to create announcements of zones as they open, but not any other announcement. Seems if I enable annoucements I can get a “Front Door” to be announced, but I also get “Security Armed” along with a list of zones that are open whenever the alarm is armed. Then when the alarm is disarmed I get “Security Disarmed” along with a list of every zone that is open. The client finds the listing of the open zones when the alarm is armed/disarmed very annoying, as do I since we live in a temparate climate and often arm the alarm with several windows open.
How can I get just “Front Door Open” without all the rest of the announcements?

Under Globals G19 – G25 (Voice) try unchecking “Enable System Messages”, Send to Control and test
