Changing user Code

I have had my system for 12  years and I need to change the user code. In looking at the user guide it says I need a “master level user code” to do that. I have no idea if the user code I have been using is the “master” or not. What do I do if I don’t have the “master”?

• From the keypad press the ELK Key
• Screen should display 1-View/Control Automation Fncts
• Press the 6 Key
• Screen should display 6-Change User Codes
• Press the Right Arrow key at which point you should be prompted “Auth Required Enter Valid PIN” —- Try your regular Arm/Disarm Code
• If successful screen should display 001: Sel Change
• Scroll Up/Down to the User you need to change and press the Right Arrow Key
• Enter the new 4 Digit Code
• Press the ELK Key to save the change
• Press the “*” to exit programming
