Trying to install a Honeywell fob on a system, the door sensors install perfect but when I try to learn in the fob pressing buttons 1 & 4 nothing happens, the fob doesn’t light up either. How else can this be done?

The 5834-4 needs to be in the “Standard Security” mode — refer to the 5834-4 instructions and you will need to press three buttons and watch the LED to make sure in the Standard Mode
