What is the recommended lifetime of the battery in the panic keyfob when they have never been used?
The manual says low battery warning is only sent when activating alarm by pressing and holding the button which should be done once a week.

Generally the batteries should be replaced every 3-5 years but this also depends on how often the keyfob is used
