KPAS Erratic operation – Troubleshooting

I have a KPAS which I’ve been having difficulty with whereby it’s not behaving properly.
I suspect it needs to be returned but wondering if there’s anything else I should try.

The symptoms I’m seeing are “Erratic operation” similar to what’s described in the Troubleshooting section of the KPAS installation doc.
I’ve tried installing it at different locations on the bus; varying between the first module on that bus or the third with little difference.
The other modules on that bus (eg a KPB and KP2) either before or after this KPAS work consistently regardless.

I purchased this KPAS in early Aug and thought it was working ok initially but unsure.

Does anyone have any advice before I try to return it?
