Had to work on a sensor, system has been running OK so rarely use ElkRP  – only now and again.

Wanted to get my Email notifications working again (Gmail and 2 factor issue) which I resolved.

In doing so, update the XEP firmware successfully and noticed my M1 is at 5.3.8 and is upgradeable to 5.3.14

When  I try to update the M1… i get this error. I went into Windows and made the ProgramData\RP directory all access for all accounts.

      That didn’t help. Any suggestions?

You are receiving this message when attempting to update the M1 firmware? Try running a “Repair” on the software  — from Windows Add/Remove Programs, select RP, click Remove at which point you should be prompted to either Remove, Modify or Repair — select Repair. Once the repair is complete reboot your PC and try again

          That did the trick.

During the M1 update it did say something about bootcode? being newer than 2.0.40 but it looked OK to go and updated just fine.

          Thanks.
