We have 3 houses , 2 with M1 and 1 with the E27.  We usually connect to the M1 via M1-Touch Android application, but suddenly we can’t anymore.  Using different phones and different carriers, can’t connect.  Whats odd is ngative response is immediate, like the app itself failed, rater than timing out after trying to connect.

We can still connect vis the old M1-to-go and with the RP2 prgrammer, but the M1-Touch app no longer seems to connected suddenly.  I know its a 3rd party app, but any insight?

Please make sure the M1XEP is running the latest 2.0.51 Firmware update.

          Same issue, new problem:

We updated the M1EXP to the latest firmware, and can now connect remotely with either M1-to-Go as well as the M1-Touch app., but now its the RP2 that won’t connect.  In RP2, the M1EXP Setup”Find” button can find the unit and displays the correct MAC address and correct expected IP address (we confirmed the IP address via our router’s “connected devices” listing).  We select “Use Selected” and everything looks OK but for some reason RP2 won’t connect.  Tried setting the URL parameter directly to the IP address (192.168…) and won’t connect.

Make sure you are running ElkRP2 version 2.0.41. On the Account Detail Screen System URL/IP matches the M1XEP (Local Area Connection), Port is 2601 and the option to “Connect Non-Secure” Is NOT checked.

Updating RP2 to 2.0.41 solved tghe last glitch. I can connect now.  There is an odd after-effect though.  After connecting, I get the compare error saying the M1EXP doesn’t match the database — every time.  Receiving clears the error, but doesn’t change the behavior.  The next connection, says there’s still a mismatch.  Every time.
