Hello, I have a client with matte black window frames, and is insisting on black wireless sensors. Does anyone have experience priming and painting the 6020 and 6021 wireless sensors? If yes, any pros/cons you can share?
A few thoughts (for what its worth)
The concern would be with black paint that uses “carbon black”.
Should not be an issue with the magnet and/or reed switch given their close proximity however paint that has “carbon black” as its pigment might reduce the transmission range of the wireless RF signal.
