The seller of my M1 system said a Kidde SM120X relay could be used to interface the M1 with 120V interlinked smoke detectors. I have Zone 16 connected to the SM120X Normally Open with a 2200Ohm EOL in parallel. System is reporting 7.1V and says Status is short (-), which generates a fault. JP1 is set to the 2-wire detector position.
