Using Vacation Mode for Convenience, Peace of Mind, and Energy Savings

Vacation mode is a second level of Away mode arming that allows the system to activate different routines when you are away for extended periods of time.

This may include:
  • Setting back thermostats and turning off water heaters to save on energy costs
  • Controlling lights on random schedule to create “lived in” look to deter intruders
  • Shutting off main water supply to prevent costly damage from leaks or broken pipes
  • Providing notification of events so owners know what is going on while away
