This command puts ElkRP in a fully automated (un-attended) mode. It answers all incoming telephone calls. If one is from an account in the database, ElkRP will connect to it and send the entire account from the database to the system. To use this command, a modem must be properly installed and selected on the Communications window of the Setup menu.
This command is useful for example, when an installer is working late to complete an installation. He, or someone else, can create a new account and edit it with the desired values to be programmed into the system. Don’t forget to set the RP Access Code. It will be programmed into the system when it first connects to ElkRP. Later, the installer can use the keypad to program ElkRP’s telephone number into the system, then cause it to call in. ElkRP will answer the call, retrieve the account from the database, and send the entire account to the system before hanging up. Refer to the system’s instruction manual to see how to program the telephone number and how to cause the system to dial ElkRP.
This sub-menu command is available only when no account is open. This is required, because ElkRP cannot know what system to expect to call in. Once a call is answered and ElkRP connects, it determines which account is calling and automatically opens that account to send it.
After sending is complete, ElkRP disconnects and waits for another call. A brief summary of all incoming calls is listed on the screen. In addition, all calls are recorded in ElkRP’s log.
