ElkRP maintains a record of how it is used. You can use this record (log) to verify which operator logged on, what accounts were modified or connected to, and when it happened. A typical log entry looks like this:

Entries are continually added to the log file and it will grow until it is either printed or backed up and purged. When the log reaches a certain size, ElkRP will continually remind you that it needs to be purged. You can set the size in the Setup menu, Options command, on the Files tab.
To print or back up the log, Open the File menu and select Print or click the Print icon on the toolbar. Place a check in the box beside ElkRP Log. To print it, click Print. If all you want to do is back it up, then click Preview and close the preview window. After printing or previewing, a dialog appears giving you the options of making a backup copy of the log and purging the log. Place check marks beside either or both options and click OK.
The log file can be very large. When printed, it could take many (even hundreds) of pages. To see how many pages would print, preview it first. If you only want to print a portion of the log, back it up, then open the back up copy with a standard text editor and select and print the desired part from there.
