Vacation mode is a second level of Away mode arming that allows the system to activate different routines when you are away for extended periods of time.
This may include:
- Setting back thermostats and turning off water heaters to save on energy costs
- Controlling lights on random schedule to create “lived in” look to deter intruders
- Shutting off main water supply to prevent costly damage from leaks or broken pipes
- Providing notification of events so owners know what is going on while away
