Account Folders

ElkRP makes it easy to arrange your accounts in a hierarchical structure known as a tree. Think of a family tree – The grandparents are at the top with branches coming from them to the children. The children, in turn, have branches to the grandchildren, and so on. The last node on a branch is called a leaf.

If your customer base is small, you probably needn’t bother with account folders – just put them all in the top-most level. However, if you have a large customer base, organizing them in this manner will make then easier to locate in the database.

You can define your own folders and sub-folders, and assign each account to one of them. For example, you could group by geographical location, by name, by business type, or by demographics.

After creating a new account, you should assign it to a folder.
